In a State that has no money, limited jobs and many hungry people; why is this man wasting time and money on moving a mural that has been paid for three years ago. A better solution to the problem would have been to contact the original artist and have them paint a mural depicting the business side.
When I was growing up my parents told me that if I took something that belonged to someone else that was stealing. That painting belongs to the people of this State, not one person in its entirety and I feel that he has no right to touch that painting without asking the people of this state first.
Yes the state has limited money and resources, but I am quite sure the people of this state would be willing to put up money for a mural showing a another point of view in addition to the existing one. This way you would have both sides of the story, not just one side. Instead, the artist hopefully will file a lawsuit and win a settlement, because of this man's negative actions.
Shame on this man, I hope he learns a lesson from this episode of his administration.
