pitbulls
I am sorry but I have to stand up and say not all pitbulls are dangerous dogs. I have friends and they own bitbulls and they are very loving dogs... Someone must have done something to that dog for it to lash out like it did. I agree it shouldve been put down the first time the dog bit someone. Yes the owner should be charged with endangerment charges knowin her dog did it once before. That lil boy didnt deserve that. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. My prayers go out to him and hope his mom is never allowed to have a dog again. Thats just being an irresponsible parent... Not only was she irresponsible but 12 yrs old is to young to babysit. You can't even take babysitting classes thru the red cross until your 14 which is legal babysitting age.. Maybe Livermore did have a teachers workshop on Monday. So to all the ones thinking they should ban pitbulls all together think again cuz not all pits are bad pits some are very loving.

You know what I think, I think everyone that voted yes on 1 is prejudice against gays. I say if they wanna get married that is their business and noone elses. You people don't have any morals or a heart. I am straight and have been with my man for almost 19 yrs and we both think this vote yes on 1 was bs. People should be free to make their own choices and noone else should be able to stop them making the choices they make. To each their own is what I was always told growing up. They are not going to teach stuff like that in school. If people think stuff like this is going to be taught in school you got it all wrong. They don't teach you on relationships or marriage straight or gay for that matter. People are people and everyone makes choices not everyone agrees with. It should be up to them who they marry and if they are 2 guys or 2 girls so be it.

Sorry, I know sidney justin his mother deb his father sid and he has an older sister named karen and another brother. I think I know the family way better then u. the 17 yr old hasnt been a threat to anyone his whole life until now. he was brought up way better then that and now he just put himself in a situation he isnt gonna get out of do to the crowd he hangs with. I am not sticking up for them. If u read my whole comment u woulda read they need to do time for their crime. I just couldnt believe it when I heard about it yesterday before it hit the papers. Like I said the 17 yr old is one of my bestfriends boys and he is exactly 2 days younger then my daughter. Sorry again

winterbear- I know Sidney Lord personally and that thing that happened on holland street was the guy that committed suicides fault. Sidney was walking to work at 5 in the am. He was minding his own business and to turn around to have a gun in his face. I would like to know how that was his fault. I also want to say he does work for labor ready. I know him and his family personally and they are good people. Why Sidney would pull a hanous crime like this is beyond me. I also know the juvinile that was involved and it never once crossed my mind he would do something like this. No I am not gonna disclose is name but he is only 17. He is 2 days younger then my daughter and his mother is one of my best friends. I feel bad something like this happened and yes they should pay the time for doing the crime. I commend the Lewiston Police for catching them before someone else got hurt or even killed.
