Rusty, Please rememeber there are two seperate towns Livermore on the West Side of the Androssogin River is Livermore on the East Side of the Saturis Livermore Falls. Many in the area consider the area where the Trailer was invaded is A Post Office suppoted Aea neared to Waye called East Livermore. NMany consider Livermore Falls the controlled over East Livermore asw far asPolice,Fire Etc.The Mail goes out of East Livermore so legally the Federal government considers them a town in it's own right but most every service they do have is based in the Falls. Livermore though it is in the same county is seperate except the fact in ermergancies of if the Falls poile is the only one around covers this town until the County Sheriff or the State Police get her.
So each interacts with the others but each is it's own too.A heck of a mess.
Ever stop and think if the police do arrest someone and bring them to court along with evidence to prove the case against the accused;they don't have backing and respect in local court system nor by the public.

The parks in town they are told to leave Parks ,get off the park bench on the side of the road by the same parking lot the Medical Center, Dollar Store and U.S.Cellular stores are in,Get off the Wall by the Gina Hodgkin Park,Get off the stairs in front of Murray Hall..Etc...Etc... What's the only place you want them is Main Street in front of Cumberland Farms. Are you saying the last place left to do positive things in town is on Main Street in front of Bridge Street? What about all the Tourists you are trying so hard to get to stop in Down Town Area toSpend Money?? Where After the Sun sets on a summer day or night is it Ok to stay in there and NOT Drug ,Smoke and throw punches???????????

When are the Punishments not dismissed,suspended or does the Fanklin Superir Court think not doing any punishments is a true answer ??? It's scary when an Disabled,older woman who is more house bound than not can figure this out as fast as I have!!!
I see why there are so very many of these things happening from the Superior Count level. The accused are brought in by the Police officers and not punished withmore than a tap on the hand and walking papers.The Criminals know this!!!
Along with all the proof they find as the court tries thier cases, then laughs silently, as the joke sentences are handed out and a few seconds later says they are quilty as then after a review the sentence is pronounced along with their walking papers by the High Court Judge.Most Adults do more to tell their smallest child they are not behaving and sitting the youngster in a minutes quiet time out area. And Many in the Downtown area are now afraid to unlock their doors!Isn't it beyond time to fix the major Crime Levels.The County may be lower population than larger citys have but there are more miles to hideout lie low in. Wonder how many cops become so deressed and ignore any and everything going on? Why work hard if the protection they do for the good guys is ignored to the point the crimnal is not being punihed? The County line Between Androssogin County + Franlin County has always been in the same exact place as the town lines between Livermore Falls and Jay. But I also know having delivered the Lewiston Daily Sun and The Lewiston Journal which was the afternoon editional 50 years ago Livermore Falls and Livermore news were always put in the Franklin county version of these papers. I can't recall when the Sun - Journal became one newspaper rather than two must have been close to 1970 .
What would the ones hollering loudest on cutting funds for police or fire deptments say if they were the ones that needed the emergency help? Would they be happy sitting there watching their home burn or watching as some druggie broke in and while doing that damage stole their needed medications or important belongs that couldn't be replaced. Somehow I believe their stories would change very fast. Take some of the money used to make more parks in town that no one uses or painting fant signs welcoming stangers driving thru that really don't see any thing making them feel they need to stop in this ghost town to buy something from stores that don't exist on the whole.
There are many other places that are much more important than the fancy parks no one uses and empty stores painted real fancy. Would the money just given for raises to town manager and selectmen have been better usedto pay for these needed services? Must depend on setting prioritys to exactly what a town needs.
On yes. If you need to call the poilice in Livermore falls don't look for a phone number for their office in the telephone book or the fancy web site. To call the police for any reason you have to use the 911 number. It must have cost the town too much money to place the police telephone number in the local phone book.
I am so happy to have read of this beautiful lady recieved her dream birthday gift for her 101th Birthday. So many do have a very special dream gift but not every one recieves theirs.

From the caregiver who had asked last year if her dream gift would be a ride on a Harley to Mrs. Thibault telling her " I need to have a ride in my first car, a 1929 Packard.” To Mr.Michael J. Fiori who gave her this special gift of the drive in his rare
1929 series 645 Deluxe Eight Dietrich Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton and picked her up at her doorstep dressed as a proper young man of her time. Every one involved was so wonderful and kind to be sure her Dream happened for her. She was Blessed by all the ones that found a way to make this happen for her.

It seems odd to not only miss seeing the stoy on here but there are usually pictures of some scarecrows as well as the folks who are making them too. I really enjoy seeing the article every year.I'm rather disappointed that we are not seeing anything other than a blank box on here.
Please don't say that our fuzzy children are either the D word or the C word. Those words would definately make them both cry and hurt their feelings. My old Companion Dog is waiting for me on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge now.We had 10 years together. When I meet with him he will been in great health like a young dog watching for me to arrive one day so we can play as we used to do. Don't ever doubt the the Lord created them as he did create humans.
