Valentine show set at Silver Spur


MECHANIC FALLS – The Down East Country Music Association will present a country Valentine show Sunday, Feb. 4, at the Silver Spur. Entertainment for the day will be the 2006 Tennessee Bound Decma winners – singers, bands and musicians.

Admission: $5 for members and seniors; $6 for nonmembers; $2 for children under age 12.

Home show headed for Augusta

Maine’s largest home show featuring 20 home and more than 50 booths is coming to the Augusta Civic Center Feb. 2-4.

The civic center will host the 19th Annual Maine Manufactured Housing Show, with up to six modular and HUD style homes, representation from more than 11 finance companies, and more than 15 home service booths, including appliances, hot tubs, patios, garage doors and insulated foundations.

Outdoors, up to 20 modular and HUD-style homes will be erected, furnished, heated, and open to the public.
