RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia M. O’Leary was celebrated Monday morning, Feb. 17, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant.
The altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and the organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Hosea,” “Healing River of the Spirit,” “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” and “On Eagles’ Wings.” Readings were presented by her grandson, Casey Campbell, who read from the Old Testament: From the Book of the Prophet Isaiah; and grandson, Dan O’Leary, who read from the New Testament: A Letter of St. Paul to the Romans. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by the Rev. Greg Dube and the eulogy was given by her daughter, Virginia Bradeen. Bearers were Chris O’Leary, Kenny O’Leary, Dan O’Leary, Mike O’Leary, Casey Campbell, Joshua Campbell and Patrick Harkness.
Interment will be in the spring at Farrington-Morton Cemetery in Mexico. A reception followed at the parish hall of the church and served by St. Timothy Circle, Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home in Rumford.
