Walk-a-thon to benefit 4-H programs

OXFORD — The Oxford County 4-H Leaders Association will hold a Walk-A-Thon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Oxford County Fairgrounds.

The fundraiser will support Oxford County Youth Development Programs.

The 4-H programs include four program priority areas: environmental education and sustainable living, healthy lifestyles, science, engineering and technology and youth in action/leadership.

Countywide 4-H programs and the Bryant Pond 4-H camp serve more than 6,000 Oxford County youth.

Anyone who would like to participate or make a donation should contact Becky Mosley at 743-6329 or 1-800-287-1482 or stop at the walk to meet 4-H’ers and volunteers.
