Waterford woman receives grange award


WATERFORD – Jennifer Morin of North Waterford was chosen to receive the Waterford Grange Community Service Award.

The annual award is presented by granges throughout the country for members’ outstanding service to their community.

Morin is the Waterford assistant town clerk. She is an active member of the Stoneham Rescue Service and is treasurer of the Oxford County United Parish, which includes North Waterford and East Stoneham churches. Morin also cooks, works on the firemen’s suppers and is available to help out wherever and whenever the call arises.

She is married to Yvon Morin and they have two children, Zachary and Jade.

The award was presented by Waterford Grange Master Linda Hooker at a recent meeting, which was open to the public and attended by 45 friends and relatives.
