Wednesdays in the Park features performances


The Twin Cities’ recreation and parks departments will present concerts at 10 a.m. over the next five weeks.

Here is the schedule for Wednesdays in the Park:

July 11, Lewiston Athletic Park: Judy’s Tune Room

Judy Pancoast’s all-original presentation bridges the gap between “Barney and Britney” for family audiences. This is a concert of high-energy, interactive, kid-centered events for children featuring original, pop-style songs.

July 18, Festival Plaza, Auburn: Michael Trautman

Michael Lane Trautman is a solo actor, mime, clown, magician, juggler, storyteller and improviser. He has been performing for audiences around the world for over 30 years.

July 25, Railroad Park: Todd Brodeur, “FRISBEES”

A world champion at Frisbee, Brodeur will offer instruction in the proper techniques, eye-hand coordination, flexibility and balance needed to elevate your level of Frisbee play.

Aug. 1, Tot Lot, Auburn: Mr. Harley

Mr. Harley breathes new life into the world of children’s music. His upbeat guitar playing and enthusiastic vocals have delighted audiences throughout Maine. He will offer an assortment of childhood classics, new hits and original music with audience participation.

Aug. 8, Raymond Park, Auburn: Daniel Forlano

Wouldn’t it be nice to relax with a glass of water? What could possibly go wrong? Everything! See how the journey of 1 step takes 1,000 miles.
