Well done – Students honored for achievement


BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Daniel E. Gantz of Auburn made the dean’s list at Bridgewater State University. Gantz, a graduate with the Edward Little High School class of 2012, is studying aviation science. He and his family were invited to attend Dinner with the Dean to celebrate his success on Feb. 12.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Two local students were named to Susquehanna University’s dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester.

Natasha Johnson of Poland is a senior psychology major. She is a 2010 graduate of Poland Regional High School and the daughter of Linda Johnson and Michael Johnson.

Jacob Lapierre of Lewiston is a junior psychology major. He is a 2011 graduate of Lewiston High School and the son of Gerry and Brenda Lapierre.

Boston, Mass. — Bowen Leary of Auburn, Christopher Jones of Litchfield and Sarah Mickool of Poland have earned dean’s list recognition for the fall 2013 semester at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

COLCHESTER, Vt. — James Wilfred Coolidge, son of Herbert Coolidge of Poland, earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude in engineering in December from Saint Michael’s College. Coolidge was honored at a celebratory Mass held on the college campus in the Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel.

CANTON, N.Y. — Abby M. Korn of Oxford has been selected for inclusion on the dean’s list for academic achievement during the fall 2013 semester at St. Lawrence University. Korn, a member of the Class of 2014, is majoring in biology. Korn graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
