The Maine Music Society’s 13th Annual Home and Garden Tour took place Saturday. The tour featured more than homes and gardens, though.
In the photo at the top, Kathy Sirois, left, Joyce Coyne, center, and Tina Lajoie paint with watercolors in the gardens of Becky and Bill Gould in Minot during the tour.
The Goulds’ house was one of eight separate locations on the tour, one of five gardens and four home interiors. The cottage-style garden boasts 21 different varieties of clematis as well as English delphiniums, daylilies, hostas, old-fashioned roses, daisies, hydrangeas and poppies.
The Goulds built their home and the walls after they retired about 5 years ago. The wall was constructed with stones off their property.
