White promoted at Geiger

LEWISTON – Shawn White has been promoted to regional service manager in the total care department at Geiger, the nation’s largest privately held promotional products distributor, headquartered in Lewiston.

He will be responsible for supervising a team of associates, managing sales service and order processing functions, overseeing staff, and maximizing performance for his assigned sales region. White will act as liaison between sales representatives, suppliers, customers and division office, and travel to regional offices. He will also formulate an operating budget for his region, provide direction to his team to ensure budget conformity, analyze performance data, and make necessary adjustments to achieve corporate, departmental and regional goals for efficiency and profitability.

White has worked at Geiger since September 2000, and has held a series of progressively responsible positions, beginning as evening order editor, entering orders for the West region. He then become sales service coordinator for approximately three years. For the past three years, White has served as business systems analyst for Geiger’s department of information technology.

He was born in Augusta and grew up in Lewiston, where he still lives.
