Women's Basketball: CMCC cuts down CCRI, 75-66


WARWICK, R.I. — Brooke Reynolds recorded a triple-double, complete with a team-high 16 points, 11 rebounds and a whopping 10 steals, freshmen Alex Bessey and Kristen Huntress each added 15 points, and Central Maine Community College edged Community College of Rhode Island, 75-66, on Sunday.

Reynolds scored half of her points from the free-throw line, going 8-for-10 from the charity stripe, and she added five assists and three blocks to her stat line. Her younger sister, Jordyn, notched nine points and eight rebounds, and Natalie Thurber contributed 13 points off the bench for the Mustangs (6-1).

Nia Mims led all scorers with 24 points for the Knights (3-2). Tiondra Hands added 17 points.
