AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library and the Lewiston Career Center will partner to offer a two-session workshop designed to give job seekers the skills they need to make their job search successful.
The first session, “Job Searching,” will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 27, and will demonstrate how to conduct an effective job search by understanding how employers advertise and which search methods lead to success.
The second session, “Resume Basics and Interview Skills,” will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, and will focus on the dos and don’ts of the application process, including how to make a resume stand out, how to market in a way that directly matches skills to an employer’s needs and how to answer tough interview questions.
The workshops will be held at Auburn Public Library and are free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. For more information or to register, call library at 333-6640, ext. 4.
