World-class singers will give concert at Bowdoin


BRUNSWICK — The Spacious Vision Song Project will present a program of songs and arias for the New Year on Friday, Jan. 4, at the Bowdoin College Chapel. 

Internationally acclaimed singers Barbara Kilduff and Gerald Seminatore will be joined by pianist Brian Moll for a festive program of songs and arias by Bach, Benjamin Britten, George Frideric Handel, Ralph Vaughn Williams and and others.

The program includes both undiscovered gems and holiday favorites. 

Soprano Kilduff has been an operatic and concert soloist in some of the world’s most prestigious musical venues, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Bavarian State Opera and La Scala. Tenor Seminatore has appeared in many operatic and concert venues, including the Frankfurt Opera, the Dortmund Opera, Glimmerglass and Santa Fe Opera and the Aldeburgh Festival.

Moll chairs the vocal and collaborative piano departments at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Mass., and performs frequently around the United States and in Europe.
