Friday, May 22, the Seth Warner Trio will be preforming at Guthries in Lewiston. Seth Warner’s performances have been described as “ethereal” by the Portland Press Herald and he has appeared at venues diverse as the Stockholm Folk & Blues Connection, The Boston Early Music Festival, live on WGBH radio and recently at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Highlights from his two-decade career include performances and collaboration with The Parker String Quartet, and tours with the extraordinary blues singer Francine Reed. Actively engaged in arts presentation and promotion – Seth manages the Olin Arts Center at Bates College and has also served as executive producer for several internationally acclaimed classical recordings. Seth plays exclusively on Bourgeois guitars – hand built in Lewiston. The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. There is no cover charge. FMI call 376-3344.
