FARMINGTON — Franklin Savings Bank has promoted two on its administrative team to executive vice president.

Timothy Thompson and Shelley Deane rise from senior vice president to executive vice president, president and CEO Peter L. Judkins said. Thompson has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer, while Deane has been named executive vice president, administration and human resources.

Thompson has been with Franklin Savings Bank since 2000. He serves on the Pierce House board of directors and the Greater Franklin Development Corporation board of directors. He grew up in Kingfield and has lived in the Farmington area for many years. He and his wife have two grown children.

Deane, who recently celebrated 35 years at Franklin Savings Bank, continues to serve as branch administrator and human resources director.

She is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and is active with the Maine Bankers Association, where she serves on the Benefits Advisory Committee and the Human Resource Committee. She is also a longtime board member of the Titcomb Ski Education Foundation, in addition to volunteering at numerous community activities. She also works with various resources to bring continuing education to working adult learners.

She and her husband live in Farmington. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
