Folk musician, showman and playwright Bob Lovelace, will entertain at the Turner gazebo, at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, rain or shine as part of the Music for Mavis series. Lovelace has produced and directed many plays for the In Spite of Life Players, The Cornville Players, and many plays at the West Athens 4th of July shows. He also is a humorist. In the case of rain, the event will take place downstairs under Turner Public Library, in the community room. A pass-the-hat donation of $5 is suggested to pay the performer. FMI 754-0954.
