BRUNSWICK  – Do you juggle, sing, walk on stilts? Do gymnastics, tell jokes or dance? Are you outgoing, upbeat and like to dress in costume?

The Maine State Music Theatre is holding open call auditions for Footlight Follies —  the theatre’s largest fundraiser of the year – and the all-volunteer MSMT Players at 11 a.m,,  Saturday, May 2, at the Maine State Music Theatre Administrative Offices and Studio, 22 Elm Street, Brunswick.

Footlight Follies is a fundraising evening of fun and frivolity, combining the talents of the local community, MSMT’s acting company and Board of Trustees as well as past MSMT veterans. The end result is seven outdoor stages brimming with  talent and two full acts on the main stage at the Pickard Theatre.

MSMT Players is a volunteer group of actors, singers and spokespeople, not afraid to dress up in  costumes and act as ambassadors to spread the  word about the theatre. The group will do this throughout the summer season and beyond in various settings, including parades, tours of our studio, and at special events.
