Good Time Sound, an a capella vocal group from Waterville and Orono, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Vienna Union Hall. The quartet uses close harmony and tight chords to entertain audiences with its eclectic mix of songs. It performs a variety of musical genres from doo-wop to barbershop and from contemporary to classical. The singers are all members of the Barbershop Harmony Society and enjoy singing on various contest stages and barbershop chapter shows. Also appearing will be the new Mt. Blue High School a cappella group Flipsides directed by Lynn Wells, an elementary school teacher in RSU 9. The group was formerly the Mt. Blue Voices. Tickets are on sale now.
