BETHEL — Gould Academy will welcome award-winning poet Rachel McKibbens and Inaugural Poet Richard Blanco to its Bingham Hall auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23 for a free public reading by McKibbens.
Poet, activist, playwright and essayist, McKibbens is a New York Foundation for the Arts poetry fellow and author of the critically acclaimed volume of poetry, “Pink Elephant.”
Her appearance, which is part of The Richard Blanco Visiting Writers Program and Retreat — a collaboration between Blanco and Gould Academy — continues the program’s mission to celebrate living writers and build appreciation for contemporary work.
