Doug Taylor and his family has been criticized, judged wrongly, his children teased and the family threatened in times past and recent.

I personally know Doug and his family now for approximately six years and this letter will inform you of the Taylor family as I know them.

This family lived on Brault Street, owned a nice house with a yard in a nice neighborhood, a safe area to raise their children. By their own choice they gave it all up to do God’s will for the children in the inner city, not knowing themselves how all these events would take place but trusted the Lord completely to guide them.

This ministry as we know it now is The Jesus Party.

Eight years ago this ministry was born. A tremendous amount of work, time, energy and money has and still is invested for these children in the inner city. Doug works as a cook approximately 70 hours a week, seven days a week, so he can not only support his family, but also The Jesus Party.

Many times the Taylors have sacrificed things or time for themselves to help others in need and to make sure The Jesus Party always took place week to week, not to mention giving Bible studies in between preaching and attending church services from Massachusetts to different areas in Maine.

They have been involved in taking stands against violence, racism, abortion, hate and so on, always in the name of love, righteousness and the word of God.

Yes, Doug Taylor doesn’t hold back words of righteousness or words of warnings if need be said. This family stands firmly on the word of God, the Holy Bible.

Maybe it’s time people really get to know the Taylor family for who they really are and what they truly stand for.

I’m proud to say that I do know them for who they are. They truly are good people.
