He is obviously a dangerous madman bent of war and destruction. He provokes us to war with blatant lies and propaganda. Constructing weapons of mass destruction at an alarming rate, he most surely is a threat to the American way of life.

Outspoken in his criticism, he continually obstructs and undermines U.N. inspection teams. He has repressed and executed many people in his own country and has bullied and threatened many sovereign Middle Eastern nations. Not democratically elected in his own country, he is singled out by the world as a dangerous provocateur of war.

President Bush has got to go.

Since being “”elected”” into office, Bush and his Cabinet have gone to war with Afghanistan (which we armed), pushed tirelessly for war with Iraq (also which we armed) and threatened war with North Korea (which we supplied with aid in the form of oil).

The president’s Homeland Security Act has now made it possible for law enforcement to pull us over, search us and imprison us for an indefinite period of time without telling us why.

The Bush administration has also gutted landmark environmental bills and refused to hand over details concerning Dick Cheney’s dealings with top Enron officials.

All the while, the mainstream news media reports (or underreports as it stands) the real news.

I have heard no relevant questions being asked about the loss of our personal freedoms or the continually blurred separation of church and state by a fundamentalist cabinet.

Instead of demonizing Third World countries which we once supported, where are the questions about why we are supplying communist North Korea with oil or why is Bush’s war with Iraq inevitable. The news media has failed its customers greatly.

I find it important to note that I have no political affiliation, Democrat or otherwise.

I am a 24-year-old white male American citizen embarrassed and ashamed that my tax money is going into the hands of the most imperialistic and militarized nation on earth and wondering why the news media isn’t asking these critical questions.
