This is a very trying time for our country.
Being a parent of two Navy men, one who is retiring and returning home after 20 years and one who is presently still serving, I truly understand how thousands of parents feel at this particular moment in time.
It is so important that we not lose faith and have confidence in our leaders during these tough times. For the sake of all our brave men and women who are presently serving, we must stand united, even though we may have doubts as to whether this is the right thing to do.
And we must pray that peace comes soon.
