INDUSTRY – An Industry man was arrested Monday and charged with felony gross sexual assault of a 13-year-old Franklin County girl.
According to state police detective Mark Lopez, Daniel Vigue, 24, is accused of sexually assaulting the daughter of a woman friend late Saturday night and early Sunday morning at the woman’s home in northern Franklin County.
On Sunday, the girl’s mother reported the crime and within a day, state trooper Derrick Record had made the arrest.
Vigue was taken to Franklin County Detention Center on Monday afternoon and posted $10,000 surety bail by late Monday evening, said an intake officer at the jail. He is set to make his first court appearance on May 1.
