1945 – 2003

LEWISTON — Jean Louise Brown, 57, of 810 Sabattus St., Lewiston, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, March 31.

Born in Rumford on Oct. 7, 1945, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Viola Crocker Billings. Educated in Waterford area schools, she was employed for many years in the nursing home and healthcare fields, and was currently employed as a dietary aide at Campus Cuisine.

Very outgoing and friendly, she was a “happy-go-lucky” person who enjoyed the company of her friends and co-workers, and especially enjoyed family gatherings.

Survivors include two sons, Richard and longtime companion Sherry Knowles of Greene, and Stanley and wife Mary of East Winthrop; three grandchildren, Jenny Lee Knowles, Brandon E. Brown, and Florence Jean Brown; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
