1935 – 2003
LEWISTON – Doris R. Garnett, 67, of the Upland Road in Lisbon Falls, was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 9, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 7, 1935, in Lisbon the daughter of Alfred and Ida (Yargeau) Fortin.
She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed shopping with her daughters, gardening and spending time with her wonderful grandchildren. She married Ralph Garnett on June 1, 1957.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Ralph Garnett of Lisbon Falls; daughters, Jennifer Jordan and husband William of Lisbon Falls, Beverly Trimble and her husband Mark of Virginia, Elaine Law and her husband William of Lisbon, Cindy Fortin and her husband Don of Turner, Amy McKinley and her husband Andrew of Lisbon Falls; sister, Juluitt Mallet of Connecticut; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Solomon; and brothers, Herman and Roger Fortin.
