LEWISTON -A&M Builders has emerged as champion in the post-season playoffs in the Men’s Division of the Lewiston Rec Adult Volleyball League.
A.M. Builders (2) defeated Falcon Shoe (3) in the first round, then followed with an upset victory over Fern Gully (1).
In other action, Fern Gully knocked off D.L.H. Services; DLH eliminated Falcon Shoe; and Fern Gully ousted DLH to reach the finals. A&M Builders then beat Fern Gully to earn the championship.
Women’s League
Following are March 31 playoff results from the Women’s League: Hunt’s Hill 2-1 over D.C. Electric, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19; Capsawn 2-0 over VNG Getty, 25-21, 25-18; Right Stuff 2-0 over ODBC, 25-13, 25-19; Blue Goose 2-0 over All Set, 25-21, 25-18.
MPC Coed League
LEWISTON – CarQuest Auto is the playoff champion in the B-1 Division of the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League.
Following are this week’s results: Strout, C.P.A. 2-1 over Margarita’s-Sherb Signs, 15-17, 16-14, 15-12; Strout, C.P.A. 2-0 over CarQuest Auto, 15-9, 15-6; CarQuest Auto 2-0 over Strout, C.P.A., 15-12, 15-5.
