Five days after posting bail, Karyn Dolon was summoned again.

FARMINGTON – A Farmington woman was charged with aggravated furnishing of drugs after several minors came forward and told authorities the woman had given them marijuana, OxyContin and alcohol.

After being approached with the accusations, Karyn Dolon, 25, admitted to Farmington police that she had in fact supplied area juveniles with marijuana and liquor, and also with OxyContin pills, a prescription pain killer used most often by cancer patients.

On Tuesday, April 15, Dolon was arrested by Farmington Police officer Christopher Chase and charged with a Class B felony count of aggravated furnishing of “Schedule X drugs” for supplying the OxyContin, punishable by up to 10 years in prison if a conviction is delivered. Dolon was also hit with a Class C felony count of aggravated furnishing of “Schedule Z drugs” for the marijuana, which carries up to five years in prison, and a Class D misdemeanor count for endangering the welfare of a child, which is punishable by up to one year in prison.

A day after her arrest, Dolon posted $5,000 unsecured bail but tangled with the law just five days later when she was summoned on a felony charge Monday by Farmington Police officer Marc Bowering for violation of her conditions of release for having contact with minors under the age of 18.

Bowering would not say where Dolon had gotten the prescription for OxyContin, saying that part of the investigation was still in progress.

Dolon is set to appear in District Court on June 12.
