LIVERMORE FALLS – The town is looking for interested citizens to serve on an advisory committee to work with the downtown grant and with the Comprehensive Plan.
The committee will advise the Downtown Merchants Association, the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen on issues relating to planning, economic development, neighborhood improvements and low-income benefits.
It will also participate in discussions on matters such as land-use ordinances, citizen surveys and related topics.
Town Manager Alan Gove asks those who are interested to contact the town office. He also says the downtown grant should be ready to start in June.
Gove also noted that Wildlife Habitat discussion will be included at the May 21 meeting of the Planning Board.
