FARMINGTON – The ninth annual Farmington Triathlon is set for Sunday, May 4.

Registration is scheduled for 11:30-12:30 at K&J Apparel. Entry fee is $15.

The triathlon starts at 1 p.m. with a 6-mile bike race from downtown Farmington, through Flint Woods and the Narrow Gauge Railroad bed, to the Fairbanks Bridge over the Sandy River. The second segment is a 4-mile canoe trip on the Sandy River to the Center Bridge in Farmington. The final leg is a 3-mile road race back to downtown Farmington.

Categories include iron person; two-person, male, female, mixed; and three and four-person, male, female, mixed. Age divisions are 29-under, over-29, and youth, 14-under.

All proceeds will benefit the Titcomb Ski Education Foundation.
