1925 – 2003
LEWISTON – Vivian Theresa Tardif, 77, formerly of 98 Gill St., Auburn, passed away Wednesday, April 30, at the d’Youville Pavillion.
She was born in Lewiston, May 19, 1925, a daughter of Donat and Beatrice (Charest) Tardif. For many years Ms. Tardif worked in local shoe factories retiring from Etonic Shoe.
Ms. Tardif was an avid card player, and loved going to local card parties. She was a caring and loving sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with family at the camp in Freeport over the years.
She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Fournier of Niantic, Conn., Rejeanne Chiasson of Auburn; two brothers, Donatien “Jack” Tardif of Lewiston, Gerald Tardif of Auburn; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
