1939 – 2003
JAY – Aubrey Wright, 64, of Jay, died Wednesday, May 7, at his home.
Born in East Dixfield, March 28, 1939, the son of Vinton and Freda (Preston) Wright, he graduated from Jay High School in 1957.
In 1958 he married Joyce Berry. She died Nov. 2, 2002. For many years, he was employed at International Paper Co., where he was a foreman on #3 paper machine.
Survivors include a son, Ron Wright and his wife, Tammie of East Dixfield; a daughter, Laurie Wright-Henry and her husband, Jim Henry of N. Jay; two grandchildren, Sarah Crystal Henry of N. Jay and Darreyl Aubrey Wright of Green Acres, Fla.; and a great-grandson, Chase Aubrey Wright.
In addition to his wife and his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Darryl in 1961; and a granddaughter, Brandy Henry in 1983.
