1924 – 2003

NORTH CAROLINA – Louella Campbell, 79, died Sunday, May 11, in North Carolina. She was formerly of Andover and Mexico.

Born in Mexico, on April 1, 1924, she was the daughter of Harold and Edith (Berry) Lancaster. She attended Mexico schools and worked as a Switch Operator at Federal Pacific. She was married on July 19, 1947 to the late Frances B. Campbell who died in Mexico, on May 3, 1958.

Survivors include her son, Herbert and his fiancé, Christine Abbott of Mexico; two daughters, Mary MacDonald of Albermarle, N.C., and Dora Easter of Denton, N.C.; two sisters, Evangeline Buckingham of Lexington, N.C., and Hazel Hillman of Lee; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Francis Campbell; two sisters, Laura Jordan and Hester Holland; and a brother, George Lancaster.
