1924 – 2003

NORTH CAROLINA – Louella Campbell, 79, died Sunday, May 11, in North Carolina. She was formerly of Andover and Mexico.

Born in Mexico, April 1, 1924, the daughter of Harold and Edith (Berry) Lancaster, she attended Mexico schools.

She worked as a switch operator at Federal Pacific. She was married on July 19, 1947 to Frances B. Campbell and he died in Mexico on May 3, 1958.

Survivors include her son, Herbert and his fiancée, Christine Abbott of Mexico; three daughters, Mary MacDonald of Albermarle, N.C., Dora Easter of Denton, N.C. and Harriett Seavey and husband, Phillip of New London, N.C.; two sisters, Evangeline Buckingham of Lexington, N.C. and Hazel Hillman of Lee; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Francis Campbell, two sisters, Laura Jordan and Hester Holland and a brother, George Lancaster.
