Police seek two young males in a maroon van.

LIVERMORE FALLS – A woman at an elderly apartment complex was hurt after a water balloon thrown from a van hit her. Police were looking for two young males Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 5 p.m. at 27 Park St.

The two males threw a water balloon from a vehicle and hit the resident, Livermore Falls Police Lt. Thomas E. Gould said.

Officer Maurice Drouin responded but the vehicle had fled the scene, Gould said.

“The woman was injured – bruised by the impact but was able to describe the vehicle in question,” Gould said.

Drouin was not able to locate the van after searching town for it, he said.

Gould asked that any persons with information about this “please call the Livermore Falls Police Department at 897-3424.”
