1929 – 2003

CANTON – Walter Everett Allen, 73, formerly of Farmington died Thursday, May 15 at Victorian Villa Rehabilitation and Living Center in Canton.

He was born July 15, 1929, in Farmington, the son of Forest and Nettie (Luce) Allen. He was educated in the schools of Farmington and in his early years worked for many local canning factories. He enjoyed watching basketball, baseball, and hockey in person and on TV.

Suvivors include a sister, Patsy Gilbert, of Farmington, and two brothers, Harold Allen of Torington, Conn., and Clyde Meader of Farmington. He is also suvived by serveral nieces, nephews, and cousins.
