BRIDGTON – The Service Corps of Retired Executives will offer a workshop on preparing a business plan from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the Bridgton Community Center at the Armory on Depot Street. Other workshops planned include marketing on Wednesday, May 28, cash flow projection on Wednesday, June 4, and financing a small business on Wednesday, June 11. The fee for all workshops is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Computer lessons

NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library will offer computer tutorials from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 23 and 30, at the library on Main Street. The May 23 tutorial will demonstrate and discuss how to search the Internet. The May 30 session will introduce resources available through the Maine InfoNet databases and the use of the EBSCO database, which provides full-text article access to more than 1,800 magazines, journals and newspapers. Fundraiser

WATERFORD – A Springfest Homeless Teen Benefit fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, on the grounds of the Waterford Congregational Church at the foot of Plummer Hill Road in Waterford. Events will include a pie-eating contest, a barbecue lunch, a story tent, Chinese auction, live music, craft supply and bake sales, and games. Local organizations are expected to join with the church to make this a special festival, organizers said. All proceeds will benefit homeless teens in the area.

Potluck fellowship

PARIS – The First Baptist Church of Paris will hold a fellowship potluck lunch at 10:45 a.m. following Sunday worship services at 9:30 a.m. the first Sunday of June, July and August, and at 11:45 a.m. beginning Oct. 5. The public is welcome to attend the service, the lunch or both. Admission for the lunch is a salad or dish to share. For more information call 743-5156.
