RUMFORD – Police believe they have located a suspect in a rash of criminal mischief incidents that have plagued Spruce Street residents.
Sgt. George Cayer said in the latest incident, reported at 9 a.m. Thursday by Lawrence Laperle of Plymouth Avenue, juveniles were reportedly breaking windows and attempting to get into locked storage buildings.
Cayer said officer Paul Casey located a juvenile suspect in that case, which occurred about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, and recovered a hammer allegedly used in the mischief. The investigation continues.
