1916 – 2003

PORTLAND – Electa Plummer Hill, 86, of South Paris passed away at Maine Medical Center on Monday, May 19, after a brief illness of heart failure.

Born in South Paris, Nov. 1, 1916, the daughter of Frank and Grace Penley Plummer, she graduated from South Paris High School in 1934 and majored in food nutrition at Nasson College.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Hugh Hill of South Paris; two daughters, Karen Spurgin and Myrna Lamb; two sons, Frank Hill and Brian Hill; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
