A heart made of fire
A heart trapped in ice,
A love that’s caged away
To protect from pain impending.
A heart that’s scared,
A heart that’s afraid
Afraid to be touched,
Touched and left.
The man who is a boy,
The boy who is the lion,
The lion that has been touched,
By an Angel.
The girl is the Angel,
Who saved the boy
From himself.
From the blackness he hid
Himself in.
Neither of them saw their need
For the other.
Neither was aware that it is
All right to need.
