1947 – 2003

AUBURN – Therese R. Gosselin, 56, of 126 South Main St., Auburn, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Central Maine Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Lewiston on May 20, 1947, she was the daughter of Eusebe and Carmen Deshaies Deschamps.

Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1965.

On Sept. 16, 1966, she was married to her husband of 37 years, Robert L. Gosselin, who always remained by her side.

For the past five years, she has been working as a line inspector for Paragon Glass in Lewiston. Prior to her employment at Paragon, she also worked for Supreme Slipper Inc. for 10 years.

She may not be remembered for having completed one great accomplishment, but rather for the simple, thoughtful things she continuously did that enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her spirit for life and the constant love and support she shared with her family will always be a reminder as to how she lived her life. In her spare time, she loved painting, working with arts and crafts, and, most importantly, spending time with her granddaughter Kendra, who added that special spirit in her life.

She will always be loved, and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but her ever growing spirit and memory will live on forever.

A parishioner of St. Joseph’s, she is survived by her husband, Robert L. Gosselin of Auburn; a daughter, Tina M. Wood and her husband Kenneth of Lewiston; a brother, Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps of Suncook, N.H.; and a granddaughter, Kendra M. Wood, who Memere will always be watching over.
