JAY – Middle school singers will perform in a choral concert Thursday, May 29, at the school. A graduate of Jay High School will also perform a song she wrote herself. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Middle School cafeteria. Fifth and sixth grade choral students and seventh and eighth grade singers will perform. Special guest Kimberly Brochu Wick will perform one her songs that she wrote after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack in New York and Virginia.

Cancer survivor

kick off lap at 9

FARMINGTON – A cancer survivor kick off lap will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Walk. The event begins at 6 a.m. at Mount Blue High School in Farmington and runs for 18 hours.
