LEEDS – Leeds ran its record to 8-2 in the 12-Under Division of the A-K Girls Softball League with a 17-12 victory over Sabattus Red. Winning hurler Katherine Rothie aided her cause with 4 hits. Kristy Buzzell added 2 safeties. Deidra Dubuc went 4-4 for Sabattus (5-2). Brittany Wood contributed 2 hits.
Auburn Sportsmen
AUBURN – Wayne Usher went 5-5 to power Motor Home Center to a 16-15 victory over Coastal T’s Thursday night in 8 innings in the Auburn Rec Sportsmen’s Softball League. Matt Mosher added 4 safeties. Scott Landry crushed a 3-run homer and Mark Mosher blasted a 2-run job. Tony Dubois collected 4 hits for Coastal.
