Concerning health insurance, most of us in Maine worked in factories for years, barely making minimum wage. Few of us could save anything since we had families to support. If we are asked to pay into health insurance, where are we going to get the money?

Many of us are jobless now. All the money we put into health insurance has been lost since we cannot afford to pay the premiums. Has anyone looked into this?

Government officials should look at things through poor folks’ eyes and not according to stockholders’ points of view.

Those who are seeking to make a profit fail to realize the poor barely make it weekly. Everything takes money.

Even if one seeks a higher education, teachers have to be paid. A person must pay public transportation to classes or pay for upkeep of a car. If one has no job and no money, how can this be accomplished?

Talk is cheap, providing ways to surmount obstacles would be a better deal.
