LEWISTON – Cross Insurance earned a pair of victories in recent action in the Major Division. Chris Jacques and Alex Parker each stroked 3 hits as Cross outlasted Falcon Shoe 12-9. Cody Lessard and Casey Parker chipped in with 2 hits each. Robbie Leeman cranked a solo homer for Falcon. . . Cross nipped Hannaford 5-4 in a 7-inning thriller. Jacques singled home Lessard with the winning run. Casey Parker pitched 6 strong innings, while Alex Parker claimed the win in relief. David Ouellette and Max Lessard were repeat hitters. Dustin Oberlander and Alex Chicoine pitched well for the Grocers.

AUBURN – Pepsi defeated Rotary 24-8 in the Major Softball Division. Top sticks were Karen Leary, Rebecca Witten and Alyssa Levesque. Danielle Paul was the winning hurler. Kayla Pelletier was a repeat hitter for Rotary. Kate St. Hilaire whacked a double.
Winning pitcher Kailey Bubier aided her cause with a triple as Gee & Bee knocked off Rotary in the Major Softball Division. Jena Dubois banged 2 hits and Abigail Holmes contributed a key safety. Sarah Faulkingham and Samantha Landry were the top hitters for Rotary.
