LEWISTON – The regular monthly meeting of the Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association will be held tonight at 8 o’clock at the Multi-Purpose Center. On the agenda is a discussion of the upcoming Andy Valley Umpires Memorial Tournament which produces revenue for the scholarship fund.
A-K Girls League
LEEDS – Alicia Dill collected 3 hits and Kristen Capen and Chelsea Bachelder added 2 apiece as Leeds defeated the Turner Cougars 9-6 in the 12-Under Division. Winning hurler Katherine Rothie allowed just 5 hits while striking out 7. Krissy Ellis rapped 2 hits for the Cougars. Molly Hibler knocked in 2 runs with her hit.
