PORTLAND – Bishop Joseph J. Gerry, OSB, announces the following assignments for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland:

Deacon Dean Lachance, serving as parish coordinator at Our Lady of Good Hope, Camden, will be parish coordinator at St. Andrew Parish, Augusta.

The Rev. Michael Seavey, serving as pastor of St. Andrew Parish, Augusta, will be pastor of St. Joseph Parish Lewiston.

The Rev. Daniel Greenleaf, serving as administrator of St. Joseph Parish, Lewiston, and vocations director, will be assigned to the Angelicum University in Rome for further studies.

The Rev. Wilfred Labbe, parochial vicar at Holy Cross Parish, Lewiston, will be pastor of St. Mary Parish, Eagle Lake, and St. Joseph Parish, Wallagrass.

The Rev. D. Joseph Manship will serve as pastor of St. Edmund Parish, Westbrook, in addition to his current position as pastor of St. Mary Parish, Westbrook.

The Rev. Richard Bertrand, SJ, serving as pastor of St. Edmund Parish, Westbrook, will be pastor of Sacred Heart/St. Dominic Parish, Portland.

The Rev. Frank Murray will be the new director of vocations for the Diocese of Portland and Catholic chaplain of Bates College in Lewiston, along with his new assignment as pastor of Sacred Heart, St. Louis and St. Philip’s parishes, Auburn.

The Rev. Paul Sullivan, SJ, serving as pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Eastport, will be pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Gardiner.

All of the assignments are effective July 1.
