BANGOR – Myrna A. Jordan, 95, formerly of 33 Hillcrest St., Auburn, died Monday morning, June 2, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor.
Born in Turner Sept. 19, 1907, the daughter of Herbert K. and Marie Record Allard, she was educated in Rhode Island schools.
On Dec. 3, 1932, she married Charles W. Jordan Sr.; he passed away Nov. 3, 1996. A homemaker most of her life, she was a member and an active volunteer at the High Street Congregational Church in Auburn. She also did volunteer work at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where she also served as a corporator at the hospital.
She leaves her son, Charles W. Jordan Jr., and his wife, Clinda Martin-Jordan, of Veazie; two grandchildren, Kelly Jordan Merchant and her husband, Thomas, of Bradley, and Tracie Jordan Wickett and her husband, Chris, of Veazie; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Merchant and Zachery Merchant.
