LIVERMORE – Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will hold a rummage and food sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Ralph Wright Memorial Building. There will be a variety of treasures, and homemade doughnuts will be fried right on the premises. There will also be a variety of other home-baked goods.

The next regular meeting of Charity Lodge will be held Wednesday, June 11. This will be the annual mystery ride arranged by the Noble Grand Frances Berry. Members will meet at the hall at 11 a.m.

Cheering tryouts

FARMINGTON – Mount Blue Middle School football cheering tryouts begin with two practices scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Academy Hill School in Wilton and on Monday, June 16, at Mount Blue Middle School. Tryouts will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Academy Hill School. This sport is sponsored by the Farmington Emblem Club No. 460.

Participants are reminded to wear gym clothes and sneakers and to dress for the weather these events will be held outside. For more information, phone Coach Tami at 645-5311 or at 645-3670.

Museum meeting

RUMFORD – There will be a Pulp and Paper Museum meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. June 12 in the basement of the Rumford Library located at 58 Rumford Avenue.

Refreshments will be served and an update on the progress of the museum will be shared.

Retired Teachers

FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Retired Teachers Association will hold its June meeting starting at 11 a.m. June 16 at the Granary Restaurant.
