If this has made it to the newspaper and you are reading this, it’s because I’m no longer within this country and have been deployed elsewhere to Iraq or Asia.
I wanted to write this and have it published in the paper because, with time not on my side, I couldn’t see everyone before I left.
I want to say thank you to all my friends and family for all you have done for me. In case for some reason battle decides to take me, know that you all have made an impact on my life and I won’t every forget you.
There won’t be any good-byes, but only ’til we meet again. This is what I have always wanted to do and now is my time to put it all on the line and take care of business.
When I joined I took an oath, and that oath I shall enforce.
To my teachers, thank you for everything you have done. You all have taught me valuable lessons and I won’t let you down.
I will not quit until my objective has been met and the mission is over.
Thank you again for all you have done.
I’ll see you when I get back.
I won’t forget you.
